This
is a hair direction template that I use with photoshop.
The direction of the hair goes from center-out direction. Picking
a color in the upper-left corner, for instance, will produce a
upper-left-wise direction.
The saturation gradient on the template allow to select different
tilt strongness. Picking the center color will produce no tilt
and tilt will increase as colors are picked away from the center.
I use the S value from the HSB in Photoshop to figure
the tilt strongness. For instance S=50% will produce a 50% tilt.
S=100%, which is available on the outer portion of the template,
will produce 100% tilt which mean the hair will lean flat on the
surface.
